Thank you to our Charity Partners

Thank you to our Charity Partners

We benefit from ongoing partnerships with BBC Children in Need, the Rosetrees Trust and most recently The Woosnam Foundation. We are extremely grateful to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity who generously supported the funding of the Roald Dahl Play Specialist in the Paediatric Outpatients Department at UCLH for two years. Their funding has now come to a close and the role is being funded by the NHS.

It is difficult to raise funds that cover the costs of salaries, but investment into specialist staff is of paramount importance. Play Specialists, Activity Co-ordinators, Clinical Research Fellows, Research Scientists and Principle Investigators all play important roles in transforming the lives of patients, enabling positive change and medical breakthroughs that could change the face of the future.

We are hugely grateful to the Trusts and Foundations that have chosen to support us, and hope that over the coming year we are able to harness further support from others in order to be able to keep pushing the boundaries of science and patient care. Thank you to all our wonderful partners for your generous support, we are proud to be working with you.

If you have links with a Trust or Foundation for which you feel UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation is an appropriate beneficiary, we would be delighted to hear from you. Naming opportunities exist for significant projects, and we are happy to discuss long- term support, including funding spread over several years. To discuss how we might work together in the future or to request further details on our work, please contact anna.roche@nhs.net.
